Srinagar- Two more covid-19 patients died in Valley on Friday, taking the number of fatalities due to the disease in Jammu and Kashmir to 119, officials said.
One death was reported at SMHs hospital while another one at CD hospital.
An 80-year-old Covid-19 positive patient from Rajbagh Srinagar died at around 12:30 a.m at SMHS hospital, the officials said.
They said the octagenarian was admitted to the hospital on Thursday and had bilateral pneumonia and heart ailments.
Earlier, a 70-year-old male patient died at CD hospital,the officials said.
They said the patient, who was shifted to the hospital on Thursday, was suffering from pneumonia, hypertension, diabetes and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
With these deaths, 119 people so far have succumbed to the virus in J&K— 105 from the Valley and 14 from Jammu division.
Srinagar, with 28 deaths tops the list of Covid-19 fatalities followed by 19 in Baramulla, 16 in Kulgam, 13 in Shopian, nine each in Anantnag & Budgam, eight in Jammu, six in Kupwara, four in Pulwama, two in Doda and one each in Bandipora, Udhampur, Kathua, Poonch and Rajouri districts.
