Srinagar: A senior advocate injured critically in a road accident on Wednesday, succumbed to his injuries at the SK Institute of Medical Sciences, here, reports said Thursday.
Advocate Mohammad Ashraf succumbed to his injuries at the SKIMS Soura here on Thursday morning, where he was undergoing treatment after he met with an accident on Wednesday.
According to the family sources, the congregational Fateh-khawani of the deceased will be held on Sunday July 5 at 10.30 am at their ancestral graveyard near Akhoon Sahab shrine at Gojwara.
A close family member said that in wake of the pandemic situation, the congregation will disperse immediately after offering prayers at the graveyard.
“I am not reconciling to the bitter fact of his death. I am really speechless. I am stunned and shocked. Those who know him must all be in severe grief. He was a polished gentleman. His mannerism was exemplary. He was helpful to every needy and would receive his friends with smile and respect,” said a close friend of the deceased.
