In Photos: Fire Amid Lockdown Guts 3 Houses in Downtown Srinagar

Srinagar: Three houses were gutted on Wednesday in a fire incident in the congested downtown Srinagar.

Official sources said that fire broke out from a house at Noorbagh area of the city on Wednesday.

Before fire tenders could reach the spot to douse off the leaping flames, clearly visible from a distance, the fire spread to adjoining houses.

No one was injured in the fire incident.

The gutted residential houses belonged to Ghulam Muhammad Kaloo, Mushtaq Ahmed Dar, and Habibullah Wani, reports said adding that six families were residing in these houses.
