Srinagar- Two persons were killed late on Wednesday after they were shot at by unknown gunmen in Damhal Hanjipora area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam District.
Unknown gunmen fired upon two persons namely Ghulam Hassan Wagay, son of Wahab Wagay, a retired forest employee and Siraj Din Ahmad in Nandimarg area of DH Pora area of Kulgam district, reports reaching here said.
Both suffered severe injuries and were shifted to nearby hospital, where doctors declared them dead, the report said
Soon after the incident, the officer said that the search operation has been launched to nab the assailants.
