2 City Traders Held For Lockdown Violators

Srinagar: Two shopkeepers in this capital city were arrested by police on Wednesday for violating prohibitory orders imposed to contain spread of coronavirus in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

The shopkeepers Ghulam Mohammad Rah and Ghulam Nabi Hajam of Chanpora were arrested today for violating government orders, a police spokesperson said today. He said that cases vide FIR numbers 52/2020 and 53/2020 under relevant sections of law have been registered in Police Station Sadder.

“Further investigations into the cases have been initiated,” the spokesperson added.
