Bandipora: Six people on Friday were booked by police for violating prohibitory orders in Hajin area of this north Kashmir district.
On the directions of District Magistrate, six people were arrested by police for violating orders imposed across the district under section 144 CrPc, an official spokesperson said. Police arrested the men during patrolling in Hajin area here.
“An FIR No 10/2020 under Section 188 IPC has been registered at Police Station Hajin against the accused,” spokesperson said.
He said earlier an open FIR was registered at Police Station Pethkoot against people who assembled near ATM in violation of Section 144.
