NIA Conducts Searches In Parts Of North Kashmir

SRINAGAR – The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday conducted searches in several parts of Baramulla district of north Kashmir.

Reports said that the NIA accompanied by CRPF and police raided the house of Ghulam Mohd Mir of Nillah Palpora Pattan today morning.

Mir, a former employee of Army Service Corps (ASC).

“During the raid, the NIA detained son of the house owner namely Mohd Ashraf Mir and was later released after questioning.

Meanwhile, the NIA carried out a raid at Mughalpora Saloosa area of Pattan. During the raid the investigating agency conducted searches inside the house of Abdul Majeed Bhat.

The raids according to officials were carried out in connection with alleged “terror funding case”.
