Chaya Conferred Business Leadership Award

SRINAGAR — PHDCCI Chairman Mushtaq Ahmad Chaya was conferred with the Business Leadership Award by the “Kashmir-Kanyakumari Foundation” Mumbai.

Chaya was felicitated for his transformative role in developing his business and progressing and leading the business community of J&K.

The award was conferred by Prince Alexander and Mubarak Gul, Former Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, a press statement issued by PHDCCI said today.

At the event the foundation highlighted its “commitment to furthering the unity between states from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.”

Gul applauded the efforts of Chaya and said that he has done a commendable job viz-a-viz keeping the tourism of J&K relevant in these troubled times. 

Upon felicitating, Chaya, while thanking the organisers, said that he was deeply honoured to receive the prestigious award. 

“This recognition belongs to every person of my state who has worked relentlessly in building a globally admired brand of ’Mushtaq group of Hotels and Resorts’. This is just the beginning and we look forward to unleash the vast tourism potential of India”, Chaya said.

Chaya while addressing the audience made a fervent appeal to people of Mumbai to visit Kashmir and he conveyed them that Kashmiris are hospitable people, and tourism is an important industry and source of income for us. Chaya said that the people of Kashmir have always and will always go out of the way to make sure visitors are safe. Business fraternity of J&K have expressed the gratus to Mr. Chaya upon winning this prestigious award.
