Share

SRINAGAR — Peoples Democratic Party Saturday received yet another setback as its senior leader and former minister Javaid Mustafa Mir Saturday resigned from the party.

Mir while confirming his resignation from PDP  said that he would be formally sending a letter to PDP President Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday.

PDP has seen a spree of party men leaving in recent time as its senior leaders who served as ministers in the erstwhile PDP-BJP coalition government resigned from the party.

Among the prominent leaders who have deserted the party include former ministers Imran Ansari, Haseeb Drabu and Syed Basharat Bukhari.
