Civilian Killed In Tral

SRINAGAR — A civilian was killed by unidentified gunmen in Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.   

The civilian who was critically injured in the attack and succumbed at SMHS hospital in Srinagar where he was referred to from local health facility  .

An official at the SMHS said that Simranjeet Singh son of Nanak Singh of Khasipora village died at the facility.

Singh was critically injured after unknown gunmen fired at him at his native Khasipora village of Tral earlier in the day.

 Singh’s elder brother was elected as a sarpanch in recently held panchayat elections,
