Today the government approved a major initiative through setting up of the J&K Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation (JKIDFC). Through JKIFDC, government will spend upto Rs 8000 Crore on completing unfinished/languishing infrastructure projects which are there all over the State. Many of them have been started many years ago and their incomplete status is a great inconvenience to the people.
