Sec Edu Organizes Public Grievance Darbar At DSEK

SRINAGAR —  In compliance of the recent directions from the Government regarding the speedy and on spot disposal of public grievances Secretary School Education Farooq Ahmad Shah today organized a Public Grievance Darbar regarding Education Sector in the Conference Hall of Directorate of School Education Kashmir in presence of Director School Education Kashmir, Dr. G.N. Itoo, State Project Director SSA Abdul Rashid War, Additional Secretary School Education Ali Afsar Khan, Director Planning School Education Javaid Iqbal Mattoo, Personal Officer DSEK Dr.Zahoor Ahmad, Under Secretary School Education Muhammad Yaqoob Malik, Chief Accounts Officer DSEK Irfanul Haq, Deputy Director Planning DSEK Muhammad Yousuf Rather, Sectional Officers of Administrative Department and DSEK and other concerned officers.

Many delegations and employees from different Districts brought various issues into the notice of Secretary Education. Secretary issued on spot instructions regarding various issues. He sought details from the concerned officers regarding many issues and matters raised during the darbar. DSEK and SPD SSA put forward many suggestions for resolving some issues.

During the grievance darbar many employees and delegations from different Districts brought various issues regarding the disposal of SRO cases, construction and fencing of school buildings, strengthening of basic infrastructure in schools, matters regarding teachers and students including temporary teachers of seasonal schools, confirmation of incharge lecturers, promotion of Class IV employees to Junior Assistants who have cleared type test whereas a delegation from KralsangriBrein raised some issues regarding some private Institutions in the area.

In a statement, Director School Education Kashmir Dr. G.N. Itoo said that promotion orders as Junior Assistant in favour of those Class IV employees of Anantnag, Baramulla, Ganderbal, Pulwama and Budgam who have cleared type test will be issued soon. People who visited the Public Grievance Darbarappreciated the conduct of this type of darbar by the Department for quick and on spot redressal of grievances.
