Sajad Lone Joins corner meetings with BJP leaders
SRINAGAR BJPs National General Secretary Ram Madhav on his maiden visit to Srinagar after the fall of Mehbooba led government met Governor N N Vohra in connection with the conduct of Amarnath Yatra but he also held corner meetings with state BJP leaders including former ministers of the party and saffron partys only ally in Kashmir Sajad Gani Lone who heads Jammu & Kashmir Proples Conference.
Mahav plans secret meetings with political leaders of some other parties tomorrow.
Sources said that after corner meetings with the senior party leaders, including former ministers and key party office bearers Madhav plans meetings with leaders of some other political parties in an effort to give a push to the political realignments in the state.
Top BJP leaders who attended corner meeting with Madhav include State BJP chief Ravinder Raina, former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta, former ministers Sat Sharma, Sham Lal Choudhry, Sunil Sharma and Sajad Gani Lone who heads J&K Peoples Conference and is an ally of BJP in the state.
Sources claimed that Ram Madhav is planning meetings with some more leaders of other political parties and the process of secret meetings started today by Madhav is likely to continue for some more time. (KNS)
