Neuroscientist Claims There Is No Difference Between Male And Female Brains

Share

LONDON — A new study confirms there is absolutely no difference between female and malebrains, the Daily Mail reported.

Nor is there any difference in how they function.

“People say men are from Mars and women are from Venus, but the brain is a unisex organ,” Dr Eliot, a Chicago Medical School neuroscientist, said on-stage at the Aspen Ideas Festival.

“We have the exact same structures.

“There is absolutely no difference between male and female brains.”

Dr Eliot claims the reason for the differences between male and female behaviours are nurture rather than nature.

As an example, Dr Eliot explained anyone can be aggressive, but men and women have different ways of expressing it based on social norms.

“We keep looking for a biological difference, finding it, it inevitably gets discredited, and yet we still seem so eager to find another one,” she explained to the audience.

Neuroscientists have not yet found concrete evidence to show there is any difference between the two.  (Agencies)
