Himalayan Quarry And Tippers Association Erects Stall For Amarnath Pilgrims

SRINAGAR — As the annual Amarnath Yatra begins, locals at couple of places have erected stalls offering beverages and other food item to pilgrims.

One such stall has been erected by Himalayan Quarry and Tippers Association at Pantha Chowk in the outskirts of Srinagar city.

Report said that many pilgrim halt at the stall to enjoy hospitality. “We are quite happy that these pilgrims have been halting here. We have been offering them beverages and other food stuff. We have even kept medical kit available for them,” said one of the members of the Association.

“The pilgrims have been hailing our effort. We want to send a message that Amarnath pilgrim are our brothers and we do care for them,” he added.
