Selfie Claims Teacher In Ganderbal

GANDERBAL — A selfie became the cause of death of a female teacher here in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

An official said that Kulsuma Rashid (25), a resident of Badampora Ganderbal, slipped into Sindh nallah near Ahsan resort while she was taking pictures during a school picnic. The incident occurred at Gagangeer area. The deceased was working as teacher at Star Land Public School Badampora Ganderbal and was the daughter of Chairman of the said School.

SHO police station Gund Syed Arif said the woman accidentally fell into the Sindh nallah. “The body of the deceased lady has not been retrieved while all efforts are on to locate her,” he said.
