Srinagar-Police on Thursday recovered body of 21 year old youth from Hajin area of north Kashmirs Bandipora district.
Official sources told GNS that some locals informed concerned police station about the body lying in an orchard at Bun Mohalla area of Hajin.
Soon after informing, a police team reached the spot and recovered the body. The deceased has been identified as Hilal Ahmad Parray son of Abdul Rashid Parray.
A police officer told GNS Parray as according to his family was abducted by a group of unknown gunmen from his residence last night and today his body was found strangulated in the orchard.
The body was later handed over to the family after conducting all legal medico for¬malities including the post-mortem, the officer said. A case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigation taken
