Lightning Damages 2 Houses, School  

Srinagar—Two residential houses and a government school were damaged after lightning struck in two villages of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday night, police said.

An official said that lightning struck in Choola and Zamboor Pattan villages of Uri in the  frontier district, damaging two residential houses and a school.

He said that a residential house and a school were damaged at Zamboor Pattan while another residential house was damaged at Choola. However, there was no report of any injuries to anyone.
