Jadhav’s meeting  with mother and wife

Share

Formality of meeting of Kulbhushan Jadhav with his wife and mother in Islamabad by Pakistan government on December 25 separated by a thick glass wall in open public view was indeed against all humanitarian aspects, when such a meeting must have been a closed door one-to-one meeting with no one except Kulbhushan Jadhav. His mother and sister would have been there where emotions and sentiments would have been the talking points rather than words. Since all these three were to be there after thorough frisking, there would not have been any security risk. But Pakistan was afraid that Kulbhushan Jadhav would reveal high degree torture on him in Pakistan custody. However Pakistan overlooked the bitter fact that wife and mother would not have taken any risk of revealing any such aspect in fear of life of Kulbhushan Jadhav.

Media-highlighted publicity-stunt will bounce back against Pakistan at International Court of Justice (ICJ) when questions will be raised on not only physical but also psychological torture of Kulbhushan Jadhav. The 47-year old was looking much-much older than his age with signs of physical torture also visible on his ears, other ones hidden under cloths. It was also clear that he was heavily drugged when he did not talk in his mother tongue Marathi as would have been natural in any such emotional meet.
