Police promoting sports in the state: DGP

Srinagar—The final heat of the three-day  11th Mobike Dirt Track Racing Championship organised by J&K Motor Sports Association at Mini Stadium, Parade Ground, Jammu ended Friday, an official statement said.

According to the statement, DGP J&K, Dr. S.P Vaid was the chief guest on this occasion while IGP Jammu, S.D Singh Jamwal was the guest of honour. The DGP was received by Chief Patron of J&K Motor Sports Association J.P Singh, IGP (Pers.) PHQ.

Speaking on the occasion the DGP said that J&K Police has been promoting the sports in the state and he would like to convey the message that all the safety gadgets particularly helmet must be used while driving the two wheelers. He also distributed the prizes among the winners. Sanjay Sharma (Ist), Pradeep Majotra (2nd) and Amardeep Singh (3rd).
