146 Alleged Stone-Throwers Pardoned

Pulwama—Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday said they have withdrawn cases against 146 youth of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district who were named in twenty-one cases of stone-pelting.

DIG south Kashmir SP Pani while making the announcement said that the youth granted amnesty won’t be called to police stations.     

“146 youth who were named in 21 cases were granted amnesty today. These youth won’t face any issues in getting passport or other services. They don’t need to follow their cases anymore,” he said while addressing scores of such youth and their families at police station Pulwama. (CNS)
