Srinagar—Langate Police Friday registered a case against a neitizen for posting an image of a student on social networking site wherein he had called him a braid chopper.

According to reports, Muhammad Ramzan Illahi, police have lodged an FIR under number 321/2017 after a student from Langate identified as Ubaid Rasheed, son of Bashir Ahmad Sofi filed a complaint in Langate Police Post.

Ubaid has complained that a neitizen identified as Syed Mehdi has posted his image on social networking site and has alleged that the man in the picture is braid chopper.

Police officials said that the investigation has been started in this regard. (KNS)
