Kulgam A paramilitary troopers officer was injured in a militant attack at Mir Bazaar area of South Kaahmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday evening.
The official sources said that some militants this evening opened fired upon a CRPF party near Malpora in Mir Bazaar area leaving a CRPF officer injured.
The officer Anwar Ali of 66 bn CRPF was immediately shifted to nearby hospital where from he was referred to military hospital Srinagar for specialised treatment.
Soon after the incident the joint team of Goverment forces launched hunt to nab the assailants.
