Srinagar: The district administration on Friday said that the teaching work at SP Higher Secondary School will remain suspended on Saturday.
According to Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Farooq Ahmad Lone, the class work in SP Higher Secondary School shall remain suspended on May 13, 2017 (Saturday) as a precautionary measure.
The class work at SP HSS has been suspended by the authorities following the protests in the citys commercial hub, Lal Chowk, here on Tuesday (May 09).
The protests by the students continued since Apr 17 against thrashing of students in Government Degree College Pulwama on Apr 15.
