Ganderbal: Dead body of an unidentified man was recovered from Thajiwas Glacier in Sonamarg area of Ganderbal district, reports said on Thursday.
Police officials said that some locals this morning spotted the body of an unidentified man at Thajiwas Glacier and informed the police which reached the spot and retrieved the body.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately known and the body has been kept in mortuary for identification at primary Health centre Sonamarg.
