SRINAGAR: – Massive fire broke out on Monday afternoon in Dragjin near CD Hospital of Dalgate area in Srinagar, which engulfs four residential houses.
After hectic fire fighting the fire was brought under control by the fire tenders, locals and police.
As per the locals, fire emerged from the house of one Ghulam Mohammad Langoo at 2:00 pm. Some o4 structures and a godown were soon consumed by the devastating ablaze.
The blaze created chaotic scenes in the area. Women were seen wailing over the loss of property. The families living in the neighbourhood shifted wares and home furniture in the open amidst rising plumes of smoke.
