SRINAGAR: Declaring the ongoing struggle for Azadi as indigenous, Joint Resistance Leadership Monday said that groups like Daesh and Al-Qaeda had no role in Kashmir and that terrorism and freedom movement were poles apart.
The joint leadership issued a statement Monday and alleged that the Indian agencies were desperate to malign the ongoing freedom movement.
Indian agencies under the garb of some world level organizations are planning their roguish activities to influence international community, the joint statement by Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik, said.
They accused New Delhi of launching a well-planned psychological war against the freedom movement.
Last years peoples uprising unnerved them & as such they are very desperate to overcome their frustration and desperate to sabotage movement through its agencies, the statement alleged.
After miserably and humiliatingly failing to curb and contain the peoples movement by all the military might, Indian government is frustrated to the extent that it has framed new tactic to change the discourse of the ongoing freedom struggle, statement by the troika said.
Kashmir’s ‘Joint Resistance Leadership’ made it clear that the Kashmir movement has nothing to do with world level groups like ISIS (Daesh) and Al-Qaida etc, and practically they are nonexistent in the state. There is no role for these groups in our movement, the statement quoted the resistance leadership as saying.
Referring to renegade groups like Ikhwan, it said that the agencies were now applying quite different approach. They have decided to go for mysterious killings, burglary, loot, plunder & vandalism, under the garb of these groups to defame the ongoing freedom movement & to influence international viewpoint.
Hailing people for their affiliation and attachment with movement and ‘brave hearts’, the resistance leaders said that authorities couldnt break this emotional bond and consequently Delhi feels ‘unnerved’.
“Authorities in Delhi have now started playing a ‘vicious game under the garb and label of ‘holy war’. It is a ploy to create a wedge between people and the brave hearts”, the Troika said.
Quoting reliable sources, leadership disclosed that agencies were hiring some sick minded and Ikhwan type goons and they have been assigned the task for creating chaos in the state.
The troika said that it is premature to say about the future political destiny of the state, however added that it is the majority that will decide the political discourse here. One point program to make an end of this slavery and forced occupation is our motive and let people decide their political destiny through right to self-determination, the statement further read.
