Leopard mauls minor in Shopian

Srinagar: A 12-year-old boy was injured after being attacked by a leopard in south Kashmir’s Shopian district, official sources said on Monday

They said the leopard entered village Kursi Patheri, Shopian from nearby forest.

However, before the villagers could do anything, leopard attacked and injured the boy.

The injured was immediately rushed to hospital, where his condition is stated to be critical.

The leopard later escaped back into forest, they said.
