DSEK asks teachers to become role-models

SRINAGAR: Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) today appealed the teacher fraternity to work as real stakeholders and become role-models for younger generation studying in schools.

 The DSEK settled 1031 promotion cases of different cadres while the remaining cases shall be settled in a time bond manner.

Director School Education Kashmir, Dr G.N.Itoo also issued instructions to the officials of the department to adhere to deadlines so that the remaining cases can be cleared in due time.

Mr Itoo appealed the teacher fraternity to work as real stakeholders and become role-models for younger generation studying in schools.

Talking to a delegation of Rehbr-e-Taleem Teacher Forum, the DSEK assured them that all their genuine issues will be addressed in a time-bound manner, including release of pending salary for which funds under central share have been released.

He stressed the officials to make optimum use of time available for teaching process so that the future of children can be shaped in a better way.
