Colleges in J&K accepting NEET Scores

Srinagar:The admission to MBBS and BDS courses in Jammu and Kashmir will now be conducted through CBSE- based NEET UG entrance.The Supreme Court of India last year made it mandatory for all the aspiring candidates of all the states of India to go through  single examination(NEET) for admission to MBBS and BDS courses.

 

The minimum eligibility for appearing in NEET UG is 12th class or equivalent qualification obtained from a recognized statutory Board with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the main subjects and with a minimum aggregate score of 50% (10% relaxation applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates).

 

Until recently in J&K, the mode of admission to institutes offering medicine- related courses such as MBBS, BDS, BE, BUMS, BAMS and BPT was done through Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) which was conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (J&KBOPEE).

 

A total of 600 MBBS seats are on offer in the State of J&K. For aspiring eligible candidatesÂ’ below is the list of best medical institutes accepting NEET 2017 Scores for admissionin J&K.
