Army Signal Centre Damaged In Fire In Baramulla

Baramulla: An Army signal centre suffered major damage in a fire incident in North Kashmir district of Baramulla early this morning, official sources said.

They said the blaze broke out in the signal centre of 19 Infantry Dew at Baramulla. Three Army fire tenders were immediately pressed into service to control the leaping flames. They were also joined by four civilian fire tenders.

Sources said the signal centre suffered extensive damage in the fire, cause of which was being ascertained. No one was injured in the incident they said.
