Srinagar: The book Ghamidi Nazriyat Ka Tehqeeqi Wa Tanqeedi Jaiza authored by Dr Muhammad Qasim, ameer Muslim Deeni Mahaz was released today in a simple and austere function at the party office.
Those who were present at the function included Miyan Abdul Qayoom ,Tarq Ahmad Dar , Abdul Majeed Dar Al Madni and Mohd Maqbool Bhat.
The function was earlier scheduled at a local hotel in Munawarabad but police sealed the venue.
A party spokesperson condemned the police highhandedness and said that the scheduled function was a literary function and the police action shows the fear that the state and its agencies have developed.
He said that the book addresses a very important issue facing the Muslim world, particularly Muslims of sub-continent.
