Bank Error Puts Career of KAS Aspirant in Jeopardy

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Bank officials on Monday admitted the error in uploading the receipt of the fee submitted by a KAS aspirant thereby putting his career at the stake.

Zahoor Ahmad, Bank Manager of Safapora Ganderbal branch admitted the error in uploading the receipt of the fee submitted by a KAS aspirant. “The candidate has submitted the fee but there was some error in uploading the receipt of the fee,” he said.

Earlier, the candidate, Zaid Bin Shafiq told KNS that he went to Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) office to get his roll number slip where the authorities told him that he hasn’t submitted his fee. “I have submitted the fee for the exams on 09-08-2016 but unfortunately due to the negligence of the Bank officials, the fee hasn’t been uploaded. The bank officials have put my career at stake,” he said.

Meanwhile, the branch manager said that they are trying to sort out an issue of the candidate. “I talked to PSC officials in this regard and we will find out a way very soon,” he said. (KNS)
