CUK Students protest against proposed police bill

Share

Srinagar: Students of Central University of Kashmir Tuesday protested against the proposed Jammu and Kashmir Draft police bill 2013 in University campus.

They said that the said bill is going to extend the powers enjoyed so far by the armed force under AFSPA to the JK police

It will be a step towards institutionalisation of IKHWAN raj in JK, they added.

“The said bill if passed may further deteriorate the human rights conditions of the people,” said a student.
