Vigilance produces challan against ‘corrupt’ ULB employees

Pulwama: Vigilance has produced a Challan against accused public servants Shabir Ahmad Wani  of  Lower Munda Dooru presently Sant Nagar Srinagar the then Executive Officer MC Pampore, Farooq Ahmad Bhat of Kadalbal Pampore, Abdul Rashid Peer of Bagendar Pampore , Abdul Majid Bhat of Khankahbagh Pampore and other 17 beneficiaries in the Court of Additional Special Anti-corruption Judge Pulwama presided by Parvaiz Hussain Kachroo.

The instant Case was registered in Police Station Vigilance in compliance to the Directions of Honble Court of Special Judge Anti Corruption on a complaint lodged by one Sh. Ab. Hamid Wni S/o Sh. Gh. Hassan Wani R/o Khankah Bagh Pampore alleging that the officers/officials of Muncipal Committee Pampore and others without following the criterion laid down under the Central Govt Scheme VAMBAY (Valmiki Ambedkar Awas Yojna)  granted financial assistance to undeserving persons for construction of dwelling houses by way abusing their official positions.

The investigation of the case was concluded as proved against the accused and after the accord of Govt. sanction for launching prosecution, the challan of the case was produced against the public Servants and other beneficiaries before the Hon’ble Court of Additional Special Anti-corruption Judge Pulwama for Judicial determination.
