Vigilance produces Challan accused CAPD officials

Srinagar: Vigilance Organization Kashmir Tuesday produced challan against accused public servants the then Director, CA&PD Department Kashmir, the then Joint Director, CA&PD Department Kashmir, the then Supervisor, CA&PD Department Kashmir, the then Storekeeper CA&PD Department, Kashmir, Proprietor Kashmir Pulses Flour Mills Pampore ( Private Person) in the Court of Additional Special Anti-corruption Judge Pulwama presided by Parvaiz Hussain Kachroo.

The instant Case was registered in P/S VOK on the out come of the Joint Surprise Check conducted into the allegations of misappropriation of food grains by Kashmir Pulses Roller Flour Mill, Kadlabal Pampore in connivance with officers/officials of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department Kashmir.

During the investigation conducted by VOK it was revealed that  the Joint Surprise Check conducted into the matter has revealed that during the period 2007-2008, a substantial quantity of 7159 Qtls of Wheat, 113 Qtls of Atta and 228 Qtls of Wheat bran, besides, 25802 empty Gunny bags have been misappropriated by Kashmir Pulses Roller Flour Mill, Kadlabal Pampore in connivance with officers/officials of CA&PD Department, Kashmir.

 The investigation of the case was finally concluded as proved against the accused public servants  as such,  the Challan of the case was produced before the Hon’ble court of Additional Special Judge  Anti-corruption Pulwama for Judicial determination. The next date of the case has been fixed on 2 February next year. (CNS)
