SRINAGAR: Unidentified gunmen Tuesday evening opened fire on a former Panchyat member in Ashtangoo village of Bandipora district of North Kashmir.
Gunmen attacked Bashir Ahmed Sheikh S/O Ghulam Nabi Sheikh inside his home at Ashtangoo area in North Kashmirs Bandipor a district , local sources said.
Sheikh was a former Panchyat member and is said to be affiliated with Congress party. He was rushed to SMHS hospital for immediate treatment.
