Srinagar: A pedestrian died after he was hit by a vehicle in Safapora area of Ganderbal.
A passenger vehicle bearing JK01F-0737 driven by Javaid Ahmad Lone resident of Wani Mohallah Safapora hit and injured a pedestrian Mohammad Sultan Bhat son of Ghulam Qadir resident of Safapora Bhatpora at Safapora bus stand, Ganderbal. The injured succumbed to his injuries while on way to hospital. After completion of medico legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over his legal heirs for last rites. Ganderbal police registered a case in this regard.
