Srinagar: Two Engineers of UEED Department were on Saturday suspended By Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmed khan for negligence in their assigned work, while the executive engineer has been charge sheeted.
According to KNS correspondent, the Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP) at Pahalgam was dysfunctional within six months after installation. The complaint was lodged at Div Com office but the engineers at the job still didnt rectify it even after repeated requests from the people and the directions from the Div Com office, said our KNS Correspondent.
Khan, after taking strong notice of the issue has suspended two engineers for negligence in the assigned job. The people have appreciated the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir.
Divisional Commissioner Kashmir while talking to KNS Correspondent Tasaduq Rashid said more action will follow against those officials who don’t perform their duty with responsibility and seriousness. (KNS)
