Vigyan Utsav For Science Learning Concludes At Handwara

Handwara:- A three day Vigyan Utsav for Science learning concluded at Higher secondary school Zachaldara, Handwara.

The Program was organized by the Kashmir Environmental and Social organization Bandipora and supported by National Council for Science Technology and Communication Ministry of Science and Technology Govt. of India.

The motivation behind the program was to promote scientific attitude and to develop scientific temperament among general masses and especially in younger generation and to create scientific atmosphere in District Kupwara.

The inaugural function was conducted by the Principal Govt. Hr. School Zachaldara.

During his inaugural speech he stressed to have such more programs in near future. He thanked the organizers and NCSTC, DST for choosing the school to host the program.

The resource persons who demonstrated their skill were Dr. Narendra Nayka from Bangalore, Sandipan Dhar form Kolkata, Vss Shastri form Bangalore and M. Jawaid Alam from Patna.

They engaged the hundreds of the children for the programs like Puppetry, Origami, Low-cost No cost Science materiel, Hydroponics and other such activities.

On final day of the program which was held at Monarch school Handwara a huge crowd of children were present to learn from the resources persons.

During the valedictory programs certificates were presented to every participating child. The dignitaries who attended the concluding ceremony were Master Saifudin Chairman of the Organization, Mr. Zahoor Chairman Monarch School, Mr. Farooq Director of the school and Mr. Iftikhar resource person were present. Finally the concluding movements witnessed a big applause from the students. Mr. Gh. Hassan anchored the program.
