Raza’s all-round brilliance powers MA Budgam to easy win

SRINAGAR: Waseem Raza all-round performance guided MA Budgam to a comfortable 62 run victory over BCC Gogoland in the Budgam Premier League match played at Sheikhpora stadium Budgam.

Batting first MA Budgam scored a mammoth total of 199 runs in which Waseem contributed 60 runs and also bagged two wickets, walking away with the man of the match award for his all-round performance.

Chasing a target of 200 BCC Gogoland was never in the hunt as they lost wickets at regular intervals and the entire team was shunted out for 137.

The second match of the day was played between MCC Mirwader and RCC Pattan which the former won by 39 runs.

Batting first MCC put a decent total of 184 on the board and in reply RCC Pattan managed to score only 145 and lost the match by 39 runs.

Amir Ahmad for his 88 run knock was declared man of the match.
