SRINAGAR: FC Andergam beat FC Ganderbal in a tie-breaker finish in Hain Football Tournament played at sports ground Hajin on Friday.
In the first half of the game FCA dominated the proceedings having maximum ball possession. FC Andergam striker Manzoor Ahamd put the ball into the net in the 8th minute of the game to give his side a 1-0 lead.
But FCA could not hold the lead for long with an equalizer for FC Ganderbal coming from striker Javid Ahmad when he put the ball in the net to make it 1-1. The scoreline didnt alter till the final whistle blew.
Later match was decided on a tie-breaker in which FC Andergam held their nerve, winning it 5-3.
