Grenade blast in Anantnag

Anantnag: The driver of a police officer sustained injuries after suspected militants lobbed a grenade at SSP old office building in South Kashmir’s Anantnag (Islamabad) district.
A police official told CNS that suspected militants tossed a grenade at old SSP office building near District Court complex resulting in injuries to a police driver.
The injured whom he identified as Ghulam Nabi Sheikh belt number 787 was shifted to hospital for treatment.
It was the fourth grenade lobbed by suspected militants on security establishment in the district this year. On 6 January, suspected militants hurled a grenade at CRPF bunker in Mominabad Anantnag. 
On 2 February, at least two CRPF personnel were injured when militants attacked them with a grenade in Arwani Bijbehara. On 26 March, a grenade blast left two Army personnel and a civilian injured in Bijbehara. Hizbul Mujhadeen claimed responsibility of that attack.
