‘Don’t Use My Pictures at Public Places’

Share

SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti Tuesday asked officials not to display her pictures at public places on hoardings when she attends any function.
“Please, don’t use my pictures at public places, hospitals. I don’t want my pictures at public places. Seek my permission first. At least tourism department should not use my photos anywhere,” Mehbooba told officials during her address to people after inaugurating Gulshan Book and Coffee Shop at Nehru Park in Dalgate here.
During her speech, Mehbooba caught a glimpse of a hoarding with her picture hanging on railings of the Nehru Park set up by the tourism and floriculture departments and she pointed toward the officials asking them not to display her pictures.
Dozens of hoardings were hanging around the Nehru Park and Dalgate welcoming the chief minister. Besides officials, tour associations had also installed hoardings of the chief minister.
