SRINAGAR:- Mr. Mohammad Hussain Malik, Secretary Horticulture Department, Jammu and Kashmir today flagged of two Mobile Soil Testing Laboratories for north and south regions of Kashmir division from Directorate of Horticulture Kashmir, Rajbagh Srinagar.
One laboratory will operate from the office of Chief Horticulture officer, Baramulla and other will operate from office of the Chief Horticulture Officer, Anantnag.
After flagging of ceremony the Secretary Horticulture took a review meeting in the meeting Hall of Directorate of Horticulture, Rajbagh, Srinagar. All the Chief Horticulture Officers, District Horticulture Officers, Subject Matter Specialists and other Divisional level officers attended the review meeting.
The Secretary Horticulture discussed all the issues pertaining to respective Districts with the concerned officers in presence of Director Horticulture Kashmir P K Sharma.
It was further mentioned that the services of the Mobile Soil testing Vans shall be utilized and all the activities of the officers will be monitored on the day to day basis.
Secretary made it clear that the officers in the field shall give their leadership in promoting various Horticultural activities covered under various schemes implemented by the Department.
