Srinagar: A 17-year-old girl was allegedly raped by three youths in Qazigund area of south Kashmir, a police official said on Friday.
According to SHO QazigundSHO, Qazigund, Nissar Ahmad the girl (Name with held) was overpowered by three youths last evening at Anantnag area and took her inside their vehicle bearing registration number (Alto 800- JK01AB-5016).
The accused persons later took her to a local restaurant (King Khan) in the Upper Qazigund and allegedly raped the girl during the night, he said, adding the victims hue and cry later catch the attention of the hotel owner who informed the police.
The police party reached the spot immediately and arrested all the three accused namely Shabir Ahmad son of Asadullah Dar resident of Nowpora, Rainawari, Imtiyaz Ahmad Khan S/o Habib Ullah Khan resident of Khayam Chowk Srinagar and Sheikh Sarwar son of Hussain-Din resident of Shaheed Gung Srinagar, the official said.
The officer said that they have filed a case under FIR no. 104/2016 U/S 376 RPC against the accused persons.
All the accused has been sent to ten days police remand, he said.
