Gurgaon Lab clears Khyber milk

SRINAGAR: A Gurgaon laboratory, Farelabs, has cleared the Khyber milk products of adulteration, a certificate issued by the laboratory, a copy of which is in possession of a local news agency, said here Friday.

According to the documents, the analytical reports from the accredited laboratory of Milk and Dahi which were lifted from Khyber Agro Farms Pvt Ltd on April 6 of this year by Food Safety and standard Office (FSO) Pampore under office code no DO/FSSSA/PMR/53 and 54 for analytical purpose were found not be adulterated.

According to the copy sent by FARELABS, food analysis and research laboratory, to Deputy Commissioner, Food Safety and standards Kashmir Division reveals that various tests of milk and Dahi were conducted by the lab officials while the result of every test was negative.

The various tests including test for borax, boric acid, benzoic, salicylic acid, skimmed milk power, detergents, pulverized soap and others were conducted by the farelabs laboratory in Gurgaon (India).
