Srinagar :- As per the instructions of District Development Commissioner (DDC), Ganderbal, Tariq Hussain Ganai, various programmes were organized under Gram Uday Se Bharat Uday Abhiyan in the district.
Activities like Kisan Sabhas/Melas, Sanitation campaign/Drive were conducted under the programme.
The main Kisan Sabha/Kisan rally was held at CFC Watlar in which common people, elected representative, students, SHG Members of UMEED (NRLM) and representatives of Education and Animal Husbandry Departments participated with zeal and enthusiasm. The theme of the programme Kisan Welfare was highlighted on the occasion.
Chief Agriculture Officer, Ganderbal also participated in the programmes along with the field experts/functionaries and the knowledge of farmers about agricultural practices was supplemented. New and innovative techniques and various schemes were discussed with the farmers of the area.
