Share

SRINAGAR: Chairman Hurriyat conference (G) Syed Ali Geelani strongly condemned the crackdown of PDP led government on pro freedom leaders wherein several leaders either has been placed under house arrest or behind the bars in various police stations.
Geelani appealed human rights organisations across the globe and amnesty international in particular to take a serious note of this state sponsored terrorism. He strongly castigated the biased role of world community and other human rights champions not uttering a single word or condemnation of “Indian brutalities on oppressed Kashmiri’s which is unfortunate part”.
He said had the same incident occurred in any other part of world barring Muslim majority state or country there would have been hue and cry from every corner.
He said such bogus and biased approach towards Muslims is highly condemnable and inhuman in every aspect and they have no right to claim the champions as far as human values are concern.
Meanwhile, reiterating his protest call after Friday prayers across the Kashmir  and taking pledge to carry forward this noble mission till its logical end Geelani sahib said we have no other choice than to show our commitment and strong resolve that we will never surrender in front of Indian brutalities and massacres. We have to show that our fight will continue till the last Indian soldier presence in our land come what may.
The Leaders who have been under detention among Mohd Ashraf Sehrai, Shabir Ahmed Shah, Mohd Yaseen Malik, Nayeem Ahmed Khan, Raja Mehraj Din, Mohd Ashraf laya, Mohd Yousuf Falahi, Syed Mohd Andrabi, Fayaz Ahmed Das and Ashiq Hussain. Terming imposition of curfew in Srinagar and Handwara and detaining dozens of people and vandalizing Masjids and residential houses is a worst kind of state terrorism, he said on one hand occupational forces killing youth on daily basis and on the other hand not allowing them to condole to their brave hearts.
