SRINAGAR: Immense Public response was received from the public to the Special Revenue (SR) Camps organized at 18 locations in District Srinagar today to provide services to the people at their doorsteps.
Senior officers of Revenue Department including Additional Deputy Commissioners, Sub Divisional Magistrates, Assistant Commissioner, Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars were available at the Camps for on spot redressal of public issues.
As many as 537 Mutations were attested, besides 484 Permanent Residence Certificates were also prepared. In addition 194 Income Certificates, 16 Property Certificates, 229 Revenue Extracts and 277 other Revenue related matters were settled on the spot. People in general hailed the effort of District Administration Srinagar.
The District Administration has decided that such Special Camps will be organized in future also in all the Tehsils of District Srinagar, so that genuine grievances of the people are redressed on spot.
